DESCRIPTION:

Heaven sent collection of rarities / Peel sessions / etc from The Pale Fountains. They were one of the glistening lights of the sort of beauty that came in the wake of punk, somewhat kindred spirits might be early Aztec Camera, the Postcard crowd in general, Dislocation Dance, what Terry Hall did on the first Colourfield album, etc. You could also trace it to 60's groups like Love (key members actually ended up backing Arthur Lee many years later) or the sort of swoon inducing classics penned by Burt Bacharach. Michael Head (and his brother John) would later form Shack, and Michael also created a fantastic album under the Strands name. The icing on the cake here is the booklet- 224 pages filled with terrific photos and reading material. Enjoy!

Disc has only very light minor marks, nothing serious I promise. Booklet and back art are in great shape. Not a promo.
