Here is a very interesting group of 6 nickel silver salt spoons.
They have the oval garter stamp on the handle which says METROPOLITAN ASYLUM BOARD ...on the backs they have  the makers name  D. GEORGE COLLINS LTD. NS and then stamped number 8 on 5 of them and the other has a number 12 on it.
They will date from 1905 onwards.
These are rare finds really as most things like this were thrown out years ago.

The spoons are 5 inch long and are worthy of being in a museum or serious collectors cabinet.
