HAND FACETED SILVER COLOUR COATED PYRITE RONDELLES, 3.5mm, 13", 115 beads

PLEASE NOTE: We do not use studio lighting to improve the colour of our beads - unless otherwise stated all images are taken in indirect natural daylight. When considering the purchase of our hand faceted/shaped beads it is worth bearing in mind the extra work involved in creating them. Unlike round beads where it is a simple matter of putting the rough material into a machine, pressing a button and waiting for the process to be completed, each and every one of these beads has been made by hand. These beads have been through 3 (or 4) processes. Firstly the ‘rough’ material is cut into a cuboid shape before it is ground into the desired profile, (faceted) and then polished. These beads do naturally cost more, and are priced according to the following criteria:

• Quality and availability of the stone
• Weight of the stone and wastage depending upon the shape
• Amount of labour involved (small beads take a huge amount of labour to produce)

All of our images are the actual beads for sale. We have sourced and selected all of these beads in person direct from the manufacturer.

At the time of listing we haven't yet used these beads, but with a number of our recent additions we have found that 0.45mm wire can be a little thick and some beads don't fit, although we've had few problems with 0.38mm wire (and none whatsoever with 0.3mm).
