Antique Asian Demitasse Tea Cup With Saucer Handpainted Floral Birds People Gold
Antique demitasse tea cup and saucer with Asian motif. Likely Japanese or Chinese. Circa 1900.
White porcelain with gold-colored trim and hand-painted scenes of flowers, birds, and people.
The cup measures approximately 1-7/8" tall x 2" in diameter at top x 3" wide at handle. The base of the cup is approximately 1-1/4" wide.
The saucer diameter is approximately 3-1/8". The rim of the saucer is approximately 5/8" above the base.
No chips or cracks, but some of the gold paint has rubbed off. Some discoloration. Some sticker residue.
