UP FOR SALE IS A FIGURINE STATUE OF JOAN OF ARC? I BELIEVE THE FLAG AND MAYBE A SWORD IS MISSING. PLEASE LOOK PHOTO'S CLOSELY AND ASK QUESTIONS. I WILL ANSWER TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY. AGE IS UNKNOWN. SHE IS FROM A LOCAL ESTATE.
THERE IS A HOLE UNDER DRAPED DRESS AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE A WAX SUBSTANCE ON THE BACK OF HER NECK, OTHER HOLE? HER RIGHT ARM IS CRACKED ON TOP BUT APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN SPOT TACKED UNDERSIDE. HER THUMB IS HALF MISSING ON THE RAISED LEFT ARM. HER ARMS LOOK LIKE THEY ARE JOINTED BUT ARE NOT. THERE IS A SMALL HOLE NEXT TO LEFT FOOT WHERE THE FLAG WOULD SET IN TO. AND THERE IS A SMALLER ONE BY THE RIGHT FOOT. SHE HAS ARMOR TYPE HELMET AND SLEEVES. OVERALL SHE STANDS 10 3/4" AS IS WITHOUT FLAG. THERE APPEARS TO BE A DARK RED WASH OF SOME KIND ON HER AND A LACQUER BUT NOT ON THE WHOLE STATUE. A BRONZE OR BRASSY COPPER LOOK.
FOOTED BASE IS 5 1/2" FROM FOOT TO FOOT. EMBOSSED FLOWERS AND DESIGN ON BASE. UNDERSIDE HAS RUSTED NUT AND WASHER. BASE APPEARS TO BE CAST IRON. UNDERSIDE HAS AN EMBOSSED NUMBER "146" UNDERSIDE. THAT IS THE ONLY MARKING I CAN FIND ON THIS PIECE.
