This Special Edition three DVD set brings together a trio o programs by Frank Zappa. Baby Snakes premiered in New York City on 21 December 1979. The film combines live footage, primarily from the Halloween show at the Palladium in New York City, with assorted backstage material and truly amazing clay animation sequences by Bruce Bickford. The Dub Room Special is a documentary that features material from Zappa's 1981 Halloween show at New York s Palladium and from KCET Studios in December 1974 for the TV special ;A Token Of His Extreme; again paired with the animation of Bruce Bickford. The Torture Never Stops is the most complete version available of the 1981 Halloween show. All Frank Zappa shows were unique experiences with Zappa on guitar and baton, leading his band on flights of improvisation and drawing ever more intense performances from them.
