On offer today is a splendid genuine Sheffield Sterling Silver Handled Magniyfing glass which bears the Square Deco pattern which is very pleasing on the eyes. The piece has a polished finish handle and 50mm (2") glass X2.5 magnifycation . The handle is fully hallmarked with the letter E for 1947 along with the Lion and the Crown and the Makers mark which is Mappin and Webb. The Silver handle on this particular item is just ok. The magnifying glass is 13 cm in length and weighs 39 grammes.
