This is a beautiful new MyLaps RC4 Decoder with the latest firmware.  This decoder will read the 3-wire MyLaps transponder (RC4) as well as the 2-wire MyLaps RC4 Hybrid transponder (we also sell MyLaps transponders). It will also read the red 'House' rechargable transponders. Included in your package is one MyLaps RC4 decoder, one power supply, one power supply cord, one serial (RS232) cable, and one Cat5e patch cable.  Of course you'll also receive some RC Scoring Pro stickers. Two ways to connect to the scoring PC

The decoder has two ways to connect to your scoring computer: RS232 (serial cable) or via ethernet. Both cables are included. If you use the RS232 connection, you may need to use a USB to Serial adapter (not included).

What does it do?

This decoder box requires a MyLaps scoring Coax and Loop wire (available separately). The loop wire is buried under the track, and as the R/C Cars with a MyLaps transponder run over the scoring loop, the decoder box receives a signal telling it which transponder crossed the scoring loop.  The decoder then sends the RC Scoring Pro software a packet with detailed data, and then RC Scoring Pro displays this information on the scoring computer.  If the scoring computer has an internet connection this data is also displayed on our website in real time.  Please contact us for your copy of RC Scoring Pro 2 at no cost to the track owner or club.
