Lasser Jump
hour watch, Swiss made and never worn before, circa 1970s. Originally made
for teenagers in the 1970s means it is not the highest spec watch and only
features a 1 Jeweled Pin Pallet wind up movement. None the less it is
highly desirable to collectors now as it is so unusual and especially as it is
new old stock. Jump hour
watches were also known as " direct read " or even " digital " because of the
way they tell the time using rotating discs that appear behind little apertures. This model shows hours and mins on its 2 easy to read discs set in a gold facia. The oval shaped case is finished in polished and brushed gold plate with
stainless back. Fitted on a new leather strap. Really cool
looking with great retro appeal and typifies the 1970s watch design. Completely
original, circa 1970s, brand new old stock and running well having been tested and running well with +/- 2 or 3 minutes per 24 hours however for everyday use a service is advisable due to the amount of time it has been in storage unused. This will certainly get you noticed and i am sure not many of
your friends will have one of these.
