I'm proud to offer you this Carl-Zeiss Tele Tessar 500mm 1:5.6 for Rolleiflex SL66. This is a second generation HFT lens, meaning "High Fidelity Transfer", ii is a multi-layer anti-reflection coating system co-developed by Zeiss and Rollei. In 1991 (last production year) this lens was sold with a retail price DM 7080 ($ 3540).
This particular lens is made for export and is marketed as Opton Tele-Te (Carl Zeiss from West Germany had a trademark conflict with Carl Zeiss Jena DDR and from 1971 till 1990-s used Opton trademark for some markets. This lens was a gift to one of the Eastern Block officials (as far as I remember he was responsible for fishing agreements on the Baltic Sea). In 1980-s he wanted to get Rollei SL66 but finally never got one. So practically the lens is new with minor signs of wear on the bayonet. Probably it was attached to somebody's camera a couple of times. There are no signs of wear on the barrel or on the glass. Aperture works perfectly.
