The faux fur trim around the hood is removable, it just zippers on and off. My son never wore the fur trim, we took it off and put it in a drawer and it stayed there until I pulled it out for the picture! 

It is in used condition - there are some flaws.  There is supposed to be a rubberized line around one of the pockets on the arm, the rubber trim has worn off (shown in pics).  The coat has a few small rubs here and there.  It has been used but not abused - it doesn't look new but it doesn't look rough either.

The zippers all work fine!  The shell is 100% nylon and the insulation is 70% goosedown and 30% feathers. 

This is a warm coat!!
