Japanese 明治時代 Meiji period - dating from the second half of the 19th century.

A hand raised and worked bronze cup - tapering in form and finished with abstract fluting.

Internally, the cup has retained the original tinned finish.

The final image above, details the incised maker's seal - central to the base.


Overall height - 1 1/2" (38mm).

Weight - 65 grams.

Condition - Very Good. No cracks or dents. No repairs. Fine natural colour and patina
