Softboxes can be used with strobes or continuous lighting and produce a luminous, diffused light that captures even the finest details beautifully while allowing you to switch between high-contrast and ultra-soft lighting in seconds. These softboxes are lined with high reflective silver interiors and a solid black nylon exterior. The removable face allows for high or low contrast lighting while the internal baffle eliminates hot spots. The softbox folds down compactly for convenient storage and transport. Ideal for portrait, wedding, still life and event photography.

Shipping Methods

Depending on the weight of the item(s) ordered, Studiohut will ship the package either via USPS or UPS. Please note that we do not currently offer shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or International locations via our webstore. Please contact us directly for such orders.

Delivery Time

Although we will make every to deliver your order in a timely manner, we can not guarantee any delivery times. Final delivery time will vary depending on destination, shipping method requested, and the size and bulk of the item(s) ordered. In-stock items are generally shipped within 24 to 48 hours. There are certain items that may take longer to process and those items should be marked as such. Please note that no shipping takes place over weekends (Saturday or Sunday) or over US Public Holidays.

Please note that any expedited or two-day shipping orders placed on Friday will only ship out on the following Monday. Also, all shipping times are calculated in business days.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will send an e-mail notifying you of the return. Re-shipment of the package may incur additional charges to ship the item out again.

Returns

Studiohut offers a hassle free return/exchange policy and believe that no purchase is complete until our customers are satisfied. We are confident that upon receipt of your merchandise you will find that it's exactly what you were expecting. However, if for any reason you decide not to keep your merchandise, you can return it to us within fourteen (14)1 days of the ship-to date for the full purchase price minus any shipping/handling fees and duties/taxes where applicable. Returns will be processed as a refund payment back to the initial payment method or an exchange depending on the method chosen by the customer.

Returns/Exchanges must be authorized within seven (7) days from the time you receive2 your package by contacting Studiohut via email. You may be asked to fill in a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form after which a RMA number will be issued by Studiohut for any returns/exchanges. Late returns may incur 25% restocking fees. Returns for multiple items may be subject to an additional 10% restocking fee.

Light Bulbs & Special Order Returns

Light bulbs (flash or continuous) and special orders are not refundable.

Backdrop Returns

Backdrop returns MUST be initiated within two (2) days of receiving2 them. No returns can be initiated on backdrops past the two (2) day delivery date2. No refunds/exchanges on backdrops that have been used, altered, washed or dry-cleaned. Once a return is initiated on a backdrop, the return must be post marked within 1 day of initiating the return (no exceptions).

Savage Backdrop Returns

Unless there is a flaw in the workmanship, any backdrop manufactured by Savage that is returned will be charged a 25% re-stocking fee. Return shipping and original shipping fees are NOT refunded. Note: No exchanges/returns on opened paper backdrops.

Non-Studiohut Manufactured Product Returns

For some non-Studiohut manufactured items, a re-stocking fee of upto 30% will be charged if there is no problem with the product. Please contact us specifically for such items. Return shipping and original shipping fees will NOT be refunded. Note: The re-stocking fee maybe higher (or the return refused with no credit offered) if the product has been opened or used.

Damaged/Non-Working Item Returns

Any damages or defective items must be reported within one week of receiving the order. Proof of damage maybe requested if applicable prior to issuing any RMA.

Free shipping Returns

Items that were sold with $0.00 or "Free Shipping" will be refunded the cost of the sale less the cost of the actual shipping costs to the customer.

All returns must meet the following requirements:

  1. Include a Return Authorization Number pre-issued by a Studiohut Customer Service Representative;
  2. Be in the original packaging complete with all collateral materials such as cases, cables, manuals, and any other materials that originally shipped with the package (if any parts are missing in the return you will not be given a refund until all are returned. We will charge a shipping cost if a customer asks for a returned item to be re-sent);;
  3. Be in brand-new condition, showing no signs of wear (A fee will be charged for any parts that have been damaged. If the item looks like it has been used more than for test purpose's, the return may be refused or a re-stocking fee of 30% or higher be assessed.);
  4. Returned back to Studiohut within fourteen (14)1 days of the original Studiohut ship date;
  5. Packages returned back to Studiohut must be sent prepaid and via insured mail. Studiohut will not be held responsible for any return items getting lost in transit. Ensure that you retain any proof of shipment. COD deliveries will not be accepted. We reserve the right to deny any exchange/refund if merchandise is sent back in an unfavorable condition.

No returns/refunds/exchanges if the following has been done (1) modification, alteration, repair or service of this product by any persons or company other than us; (2) physical abuse to, overload of, or misuse of, the product or operation thereof in a manner inconsistent with the use indicated in the instructions; (3) any use of the product other than that for which it was intended;

Return items not meeting the above requirements may be refused or a restocking fee of up to 25% may be assessed.

Refund Processing

All requests will be processed after our returns department inspects and verifies the condition of the item. Returns take approximately 7 to 10 business days to process upon receipt of the item. For faster processing, please ensure that products are returned complete with all original materials. Shipping, Handling Charges, Duties or Taxes are not refunded. Damaged or Defective Items

Warranty

Most of our items are covered by a 6 month warranty from the time of purchase. Bulbs and backdrops are an exception.

In the event that your equipment requires any repairs or service please contact Studiohut first to ensure your product is covered by a warranty and to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization form. No returns will be accepted without prior permission from Studiohut. Any items returned for warranty claims must be returned with postage paid as well as payment of $10 to cover shipping and handling in the continental US. Fees for shipping to other locations will be determined based on specific location.

Any warranty repairs, adjustments or replacements will only be offered provided the equipment has not been, misused, tampered with, modified or damaged as a result of accident, water, grit, impact, physically broken parts or or lack of proper care as indicated in the manual of operations.
