This tool makes a timing belt change much easier. You simply plug the tool into the tensioner pulley, insert a 3/8" drive wrench, or use the supplied adapter for a 1/4" drive, and turn in order to apply the correct amount of tension to the timing belt.
crankshaft pulley removal tool....
This removal tool will never rust and if you accidentally over torque the pulley bolt, the pins will take a lot more torque before they bend/break compared to mild unhardened steel.
Simply plug in a 1/2" drive wrench or breaker bar, which can then be held or lay against the axle or lower control arm, then use either a socket or 1/2" wrench/breaker bar to turn the bolt.
gear locks....
There is an amount of tension from the lobes/springs that forces the gears to rotate, making it very difficult to keep the timing marks lined up. Use these to keep your camshaft gears from rotating while you install the timing belt. Made from aluminum, these will not damage your gears. They also have a hole for hanging while not in use.
The last two images in the picture gallery show the tool dimensions. Please use them to double check against your pulley to make sure they will work.
