This without doubt, one of the rarest PINK FLOYD P/S 45s ever listed on EBay!!!  Only '2 x Copies' with this, its Original (and very attractive) Stamped ''Columbia/Sony Cairo [Die Cut] P/S has ever surfaced!


  Until 2007, this single was only rumoured to exist and when it did surface, it featured in the 2007 Edition of Record Collector - The Rarest Pink Floyd 45s 


Columbia Records existed in Egypt from late '67 until 1972 with just very limited selective titles pressed 
In this case, with a rare error in the group name on the single -  Writing ' PINK FLOID' instead of FLOYD..

SLEEVE: The P/Sleeve is in EXCEPTIONAL Condition for its age.

NO WRITING!  NO STAINS!!  NO TEARS!!! 

INNER SLEEVE - Original EGYPT 'Black' COLUMBIA Sleeve SUPERB!


VINYL - There is just one circular mark, three-quarters of the way through A Side only, where its likely a 'spec of sand' (or grit) has entered the inner sleeve, and when the vinyl was wiped clean in a circular motion with a cloth, it has left a circular mark, that shows for barely half of  "ONE' groove of the record (or revolution) and therefore has little or no impression. 

It my opinion, the record could do with a Professional clean.. or at least a pro wipe, as this record laid in the vaults of 'Sono Cairo' for '45 YEARS+' before being uncovered.


I have held both sides up to a Bright Light and I can see NO OTHER noticable marks, apart from the minor mark I've mentioned and were not for this, the record could be graded Near Mint by some! Therefore -

A Side: EX(EX-)

B Side: NM 







 

To Date:  This is only the '2nd (Documented) Copy" of the only PINK FLOYD 45 pressed in Egypt!!!
