Eddie Van Halen played and endorsed them early on, and just one look will tell you why. The 84 is equipped for no-nonsense, fast-paced performance. The single Seymour Duncan JB humbucker at the bridge boasts aggressive output that's enhanced by the lack of a tone circuit. What was refurbished on this guitar:
When this guitar came in from the factory, the authorized refurbisher couldn't find anything wrong with it. No repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. It looks and plays like new. Back of the headstock is stamped "2nd" and original serial # has been replaced with a new one.
