Up for sale is this Victorian Mourning Purse. This is a small ladies bag that would of been used by a lady in mourning. It has been well made, more than likely by hand! 

The bag has press studs to the inside which simply clip together.

This has survived well, I cannot spot any damage to it and it looks in good condition overall. It is still perfectly fine to be used and although small, would hold those small essentials like keys, money etc. 

A charming piece with great detail to it. Very elegant and pretty!
