This 2 owner 64' Pontiac is powered by the original 389 CID V8 and the original automatic transmission. The original, factory sprayed Ermine White exterior paint looks fantastic, especially considering its age, it shines beautifully. The medium red vinyl interior vinyl interior is also original to the car, and is also in excellent condition, free from any rips, tears, or major wear. This Catalina Safari Wagon is a true time capsule, and will propel you back to 1964 in the blink of an eye. In 1964 the country was still trying to heal the wounds of the JFK assassination and win the space race. Gone are the steel wheels and hub caps, in their place are the aluminum 4 wheel drum brakes with 8 lug steel wheels bolted to them, which was swapped by the original owner. Also added by the original owner was an aftermarket horn and trailer brake system. The original owner was a distributer for Anheuser-Busch and towed a trailer with all the Anheuser goodies. Which would explain the wheel swap and trailer brake system. This 64' Catalina Wagon is a beautiful example of American automotive history, with a nice piece of Budweiser history to go along with it.
