Here for your consideration is the hard to find, Yamaha S-50A Folk Guitar!
These guitars were produced by the famed Yamaha Nippon Gakki in Japan between 1968-1972.
It may have the look of a classical guitar, built was built as a steel string "folk guitar".
Plays and feels amazing with some nice Silk and Steel Strings on it!

This has been my daily player for the past 5 years and I have loved it.
It's by no means in perfect cosmetic condition, numerous scratches and some dings and dents as seen in my very detailed photos.
The neck also appears to have been repaired(well- I might add) at some point.
A real pleasure to play for a fingerstyle guitarist like myself.
Just sounds so good to my ears, these guitars were built with true craftsmanship and this model is quite hard to find these days.
This guitar could use a new saddle as I did experience some fret buzz at higher frets and the saddle looks to have been shaved down quite low.
The fretboard and frets are still in great shape as seen in photos and the neck looks quite straight to me.
The action is about 1/8" at the 12th fret.
The little top partial fret at the 19th fret before the soundhole is missing.
The tuners are a bit dirty with some oxidation/rust but are functioning fine.
This guitar may require some love to get it to your standards, but as I said, I've been playing it for years and love it.
No strings included, took mine off to clean the guitar up.
