This is a Peerless Marshall, circa 1930's lathe. I could very well be off with the date. The accessories amount to 14 collets. The opposite end of photo #5 has Marshall stamped.

Dayton motor runs fine. the evidence for this was simply to bypass the foot pedal.

Foot pedal is working just fine. I replaced the plug and this is what prevented the power to motor. The lathe has been covered and protected during this time.

Head and tail stock, excellent working condition as well as steady rest. The chrome plate has very little discoloration and over all appearance is very good.

The drive belt is two coupled springs. Not certain if original but it certainly holds the rotation at full rpm.

Product is sold as is and the best offer will be entertained.

weight is approx. 12 lbs. But again this is by feel only.

Being new to this process, you, as the buyer may have a preference for shipping. Please let me know.

Note, making an offer that is reasonable will always be considered. The time period, condition and accessories that accompany this lot is a fair price as is. Your desire for a deal will be considered within a range that I have determined as my selling point. And, this machine is working quite well. It has a reversing switch, which I,m sure most do.

Respectfully, Happy Holidays
