Heavy yet defined tone from Quantum 7 pickups
We know you want rich, thick tone from your 7-string guitar, but your tone needs to be well defined too if you want to cut through the mix.
This axe packs a pair of Ibanez's Quantum 7 ceramic humbuckers. These pickups give you the edge you need to remain articulate, while also serving your amplifier with powerful lows and rich mids too.

This Guitar is a Factory 2nd (sold as used) It has a tiny ding on face (too hard to photo).

Classic RG performance
The Ibanez RG-series of guitars has remained a standard in rock music for the last couple of decades, thanks to the effortless playability of Ibanez's Wizard II-7 neck. This slim and super-comfortable neck lets you pull off lighting-fast runs and arpeggios with ease, but still gives you the substance you need for fretting chords. The Ibanez RG7421 also gives you a ton of tone - and scorching hot looks to boot!

Fixed Bridge 7 for absolute tuning stability
The RG7421 sports Ibanez's Fixed Bridge 7, which means no more tuning hassles due to a floating vibrato tailpiece. Your lowered tunings will be more stable and the string tension will feel looser. When you change tunings at the gig you'll be ready to rock - without messing with the vibrato or loosening locking nuts.

Massive tonal range
With two humbucking pickups plus five-way switching, you'll be able to shape your tone any way you like on the RG7421. The low end on this guitar will surprise you. Although it will forever be known as a rock guitar, the RG7421's fast playability and tonal variety make it a great guitar for almost any style.

Ibanez RG7421 Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:

My Factory 2nd guitars and basses are a tremendous value. These guitars are often sold at hundreds of dollars less than their 'new' counterparts. Factory 2nd guitars are deemed as such directly from the manufacturer and have never been previously sold in retail or distributed to a music store. They are marked as a 2nd by the manufacturer when they fail to pass final inspection. They usually have a minor cosmetic finishing flaw that prevents them from being sold as new instruments. These instruments do not have major flaws (UNLESS STATED).   These blemishes do not affect the playability of the instruments at all. Apart from the defect listed they are perfect, all the electronics, pickups, tuners, neck and frets etc. are good. I buy my guitars and basses directly from the manufacturer. There is no manufactures warranty and sometimes it is difficult to identify why some of these guitars were marked as seconds.  Each instrument gets set up and checked by me before it is released for sale. Some of the models are discontinued and have no issues at all. Most instruments are stamped lightly with an S on the back of the headstock.

Please read the entire listing to find out why this item is a factory 2nd.
