Hello. Up for your consideration this week is a gorgeous Nikon W-Nikkor-C 2.8cm (28mm) f/3.5 rangefinder lens in Leica Screw Mount (LSM, LTM, M39, L39) complete with a rear lens cap. Lens Serial # 717289. The housing of this particular lens is in excellent condition exhibiting some normal signs of light use that includes some minor blemishing, scratching, and brightlining on the more vulnerable of surfaces. The focus is buttery smooth and each click of the aperture ring is well-defined. As is common with Nikon lenses of this era there is some oil present on the aperture blades. The presence of the oil will have no affect upon functionality. The optical glass is pristine and free from fungi, haze, separation, coating flaws, cleaning marks, blemishing, and scratching. A penlight reveals some speckles of internal dust that will obviously have no affect upon the rendered image quality.
