These Knives are made by Green River Works, a Division of Dexter Russell.  They are new, unused  but are stamped "factory seconds" and I bought them right at the Dexter Russell Factory.  As "seconds" they have a few scratches and blemishes (light stains).  Nothing too serious at all. The stains are hardly visible in a few of the  photos.  Notice the thickness of the blades at the handle (photos 5 & 6).  That's because they are forged, just like the finest quality chef knives.  They start out thick, then taper to just the right thickness and flexibility (see photo 5).
  • 2-Each G.R.W. 2-3/8-Inch Straight Palette Knife.  Fully Forged High Carbon Steel.
  • Model S17 2-2/8.  Beautiful Rosewood Handle (see the 3rd photo) with "no-roll" feature (2 sides of handle are flattened).
  • Overall Length: 6-Inches
These knives have just the right amount of flex.

MSRP: $21.00 Each.   But why take my word for it?  Just go to Dexter1818.com and click on "Shop" then "Shop By Item Category" on the Home Page.  Then choose "Ink and Palette Knives" and see the prices for yourself.

Artists that buy these tools do so because they love the Look, Feel & Warmth of Real Rosewood. The Side-View photo shows the thickness of the blades.

ABOUT HIGH CARBON STEEL: High Carbon Steel can and does stain and sometimes even rust, even with the utmost care.  You can see from the photos that the longest blade does have stains on it.
Always wash and thoroughly dry High Carbon after each use.  Apply a thin coat oil on the blade if so desired.
