RARE! Vintage 1933's Valvoline Motor Oil for 50 Cents (1 Imperial Quart) Can. VALVOLINE OIL COMPANY OF CANADA, LIMITED. This is an EMPTY vintage oil can from the early 1930's for collectible purposes or display. This is one of the first quart cans that was ever made. The logo on the can was brought into use in 1866 and it wasn't changed until the mid-1930's. This can is in excellent condition with some wear. The top is missing, and it was cut around the sides, just underneath the top rim, leaving a sharp edge. At some point in time someone crimped the edges a little bit to keep from cutting. This can would have originally measured 6 1/2" inches in height, but it now only measures a 6 1/4" inches in height with the top cut the way it is. One side of can is a little bit surface rusty. Otherwise, in VERY GOOD & DISPLAYABLE CONDITION! Overall this is a clean & super shiny can. This is a very rare can that features the very first Valvoline logo, which was brought into use in 1866 and wasn't changed until sometime in the mid-1930's. This can is sure to be an attention grabber! Unfortunately the can is not marked. This is a 1 Imperial Quart can that measures approx- (with the top cut)- 6 1/4" inches in height, 4" inches in diameter. I have taken lots of detailed photos to the best of my ability to present any damage and I have included them in my listings. I take great care in packaging items for shipment. There are NO extra charges for packaging supplies. Signs may be shipped in between 2 pieces of styrofoam and then packaged in a cardboard box. If the sign needs extra protection, I will build a wooden frame and then staple cardboard panels on each side. Sign will fit great and it will be snug during it's travels. It will not move around or get bent or beat up. Tins & Cans are wrapped in Bubble Wrap and set inside a cardboard box with Packing Paper / Peanuts. Some items may be double-boxed for extra protection. Items are GUARANTEED to arrive safely to your home in the same condition it was in when it left mine! Any Bubble Wrap / Packing Paper / Peanuts / Etc. used in packaging will be included FREE OF CHARGE. I take great responsibility in packaging my items.
