This is a heavy red plaid
wool shirt. The ‘60s date is a best guess. In mostly excellent shape. There is
a worn spot with loose threads underneath the right pocket flap where it looks
like the original owner apparently tucked something in on a regular basis. (See
photo 7 for a view under the flap, and photo 8 for a view from inside the
shirt.) Luckily, the damage is hidden. There is also a very small worn spot
with loose threads on the bottom of the flap of the left pocket (see photo 9).
I can find no other damage, and I believe someone with sewing skills can mend
these blemishes fairly easily. Tag identifies the shirt as a Melton
Wintermaster, size XL. Please examine the photos closely and email any
questions.
