Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy begins shortly after the conclusion
of events in Star Wars: Jedi Outcast. Players create a Jedi apprentice
character and join the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4 to learn the ways of the
Force under the tutelage of Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn. While the
young apprentice embarks on various missions to hone his skills and
abilities, a mysterious group is discovered creating havoc throughout
the galaxy. Until order is restored, the fate of the Jedi Academy--and
the future of the Star Wars galaxy itself--hangs precariously in the
balance. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy allows players to create
and customise their own characters by choosing various characteristics
including species, gender, clothing and physical attributes such as hair
and facial features. In addition, players can create a custom
lightsaber, selecting from hilt and blade colour. As apprentices
progress in their training, different lightsabers will become available,
such as the double-bladed lightsaber or dual lightsabers. A unique
level selection system allows players to choose their own path through
the game as well as the missions they undertake to improve their Jedi
skills. The game adds several new multiplayer modes and enhances
existing modes that were most popular in Star Wars Jedi Outcast.

In the tradition of the multi-award-winning Star Wars: Jedi Knight, Star
Wars: Jedi Knight 2, Jedi Outcast features rebel agent Kyle Katarn in
exhilarating first-person action. Several years have passed since Kyle
avenged his father's death and saved the Valley of the Jedi from Jerec
and his band of Dark Jedi. Allowing his Force powers to languish for
fear of falling to the dark side, Kyle entrusted his lightsaber to Luke

Rogue Squadron challenges players to jump into Luke Skywalker's
flight suit for exhilarating, high-speed missions against the dreaded
Galactic Empire in such fabled Rebel starfighters as X-wings, Y-wings
and A-wings, as well as V-wing air speeders and snow speeders. The
stakes are high and the hazards even higher: if players lose wingmates
in battle, they risk their own demise. If they protect them, their mates
will return the favour. Aerial conflict takes place in a variety of
extraordinary 3-D planetary settings that range from familiar Star Wars
locales such as Tatooine, to ones never before seen, including Kessel
and Mon Calamari. Players will test their dogfight skills over
spectacular environments including water, canyons, deserts, treetops and
volcanic regions. Crafts will be equipped with lasers, seeker missiles,
ion cannons and more.
Rogue Squadron features an assortment of
camera perspectives that range from in-the-cockpit to several exterior
points of view. Immersive 3-D details such as real-time lighting and
spectacular special effects such as smoke, engine glow and tracer fire
truly bring the Star Wars universe to life.
