This mid century Knudsen Creamery Company of Los Angeles, California brochure is just a great vintage find, and it is a rarely seen advertising item.

This vintage advertising and promotional booklet is not dated, but it has to be a very early booklet due to the content –

Knudsen dairy spends quite a bit of time explaining what yogurt is and how to store it and how to eat it – Color illustrations of yogurt products and also recipes using the yogurt –

There is also notation that their yogurt technique has patent pending – the “new” technique is blending fruit into plain yogurt.  

Yogurt was an unknown exotic item to most Americans in the 1960’s and 1970’s – definitely true for the Midwest. I am not certain about the coasts

My best guesstimate as to the date of this piece is a late 1960’s to 1970’s item.  If collectors of Knudsen Dairy creamery have a more exact date, please do email me.

The pamphlet / brochure was made from heavier quality slick magazine type paper. It is staple bound.

Size:  approx. 6 1/8^th by 3 inches; 15 pages
