RETINOL A 2%: Retinol is an extremely effective cell-communicating ingredient, which means it can literally connect to almost any skin cell and make it healthy and look younger, it is also an antioxidant, and can interrupt the free-radical damage process that causes skin to look and act older. This action helps prevent wrinkles and increases collagen production.

Retinol A’s primarily function is to accelerate epidermal cell turnover. Retinol A derivatives trigger cell division in the skin, producing a more rapid cell turnover and exfoliation and are used for acne, melasma, wrinkles, scars, sun damage, photo damage, blemishes, vitilgo and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Retinol A also encourages collagen production and thicken the dermis, thereby reduces the appearance and amount of wrinkles. Retinol A can also be used as a penetration enhancer when used with other acne treatments, skin lightening and anti-aging ingredients. Retinol A also inhibits the tyrosinase induction, which results in skin depigmentation.

All of these benefits are why retinol helps our skin look younger. In total, retinol can help more than 100 skin issues.

HYALURONIC ACID: Hyaluronic acid is used as a lip filler in plastic surgery, it prevents the effects of aging. In fact, hyaluronic acid is known as a "fountain of youth."

Hyaluronic acid, also known as HA, is a natural compound found in skin that has many important functions, including holding in moisture, providing cushioning, aiding in tissue repair, holding together the skin structural components collagen and elastin, and helping create a protective barrier against microorganisms. Our skin starts losing hyaluronic acid as early as age 18, but wrinkles and other skin damage from hyaluronic acid loss don't generally show up until the late 30s or early 40s.

Hyaluronic acid is used in fillers and injected into the deep layers of skin to replace missing HA in the dermis, temporarily restoring plumpness and filling in wrinkles and creases. This restores a youthful appearance to the face, neck, chest or other areas injected with HA fillers. Some people use derma rollers and hyaluronic acid to achieve similar results to fillers.

When hyaluronic acid is used in skin care everyday it helps to achieve similar results to fillers and derma rollers used every now and then.

MARINE COLLAGEN: As we age, our body loses its ability to make collagen, consequently skin droops and wrinkles appear. Including collagen protein in skin care products is believed to provide the skin with amino acids necessary to manufacture and support collagen. Studies support that collagen peptides extracted from marine consist of small peptide molecules that have a superior bioavailability compared to other collagen products, and due to its smaller molecular weight, it is absorbed by skin at a higher level.

Co Q10: Coenzyme Q10 (Co Q10) is a relatively new compound in the skin care industry. CoQ10 is Vitamin Q and it plays a vital role in the delivery of cellular energy. CoQ10 can counteract free radicals and the damage they cause. Free radicals are highly reactive molecules that can damage skin cells, causing wrinkles and making our skin appear older.

DMAE: DMAE is an astonishing nutrient and a potent antioxident that extends the life of skin cells, inhibits the cross linking of proteins, significantly improves sagging skin and gives the skin a more toned and firm appearance.  DMAE is made from fruit acids and is an organic compound. DMAE is known to instantly tighten the skin and penetrate easily and readily into skin, the more often it is applied topically, the tightening effect is made stronger.  Continuous use makes the skin softer and provides more elasticity.

Freshwater Pearl Powder: Pearl powder is a finely milled powder from quality freshwater pearls, contains many amino acids and minerals, and is naturally compatible and easily absorbed by the skin and body. The incredible benefits of pearl powder are skin healing, skin brightening, anti-wrinkling, and sun protection. Pearl is the magic cure for removing unwanted skin conditions like red blotches, acne, zits and pimples, acne scaring, dry patches, rosacea, fine lines, wrinkles and for reducing enlarged pores.

VITAMIN C: One of the most well researched and beneficial vitamins you can apply topically is vitamin C. It has been shown to increase collagen production including dermal collagen, which is significant for wrinkle reduction, reduces the appearance of skin discolorations, strengthens skin's barrier response, enhances skin's repair process, reduces inflammation, and helps skin better withstand exposure to sunlight. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate SAP is the stabilised version of L-Ascorbic Acid, this form of Vitamin C will not degrade in water, due to light or oxygen.

VITAMIN E: Technical name tocopherol is considered an antioxidant superstar in its own right. This fat-soluble vitamin is available in various forms with eight biologically active components, such as alpha tocopherol and beta tocopherol, or combined in an ingredient called tocotrienols. Simply put, vitamin E in all of its forms works in several different ways to protect cell membranes from oxidative damage and to prevent collagen from being destroyed.

VITAMIN B3 Niacinamide: Niacinamide, also known as nicotinamide, is the active component of vitamin B3. When applied topically, niacinamide has been shown to increase ceramide and free fatty acid levels in skin, it prevents skin from losing water content, and stimulates microcirculation in the dermis.

VITAMIN B5: panthenol, considered an active ingredient on it’s own, a highly moisturising ingredient that relieves the itchiness and dry skin associated with retinol products.
