700ft Brand new 3.5mm commercial style fishing long line fitted with 100 x 5/0 strong nickel plated hooks.
The line is made from white braided nylon and is rigged with 100 x 5/0 nickel plated hooks on 18in 150lb braid snoods these are looped either end for ease of changing hooks/snoods. Each snood is connected to the mainline with a 2/0 rolling swivel which is threaded on and then fixed via a stop knot each side(see pictures). There is a loop either end of the line and each swivel is 7ft apart.
With these components this line is practically rot/rust free if looked after!
These lines are perfect for beach or boat and will target all fish such us cod, skate, dogfish, bass and even large flat fish.
Swiveled lines in my opinion fish much better than others as they help prevent twists and with longer snoods and wider spacing between hooks it keeps everything spread out more and helps prevent tangles. I can honestly say I've tried all sorts and this spec is the best for use out of a small boat or to lay across a beach at low water.
I make and use theses lines myself and each one is made to a very high standard with quality equipment. Having spent the first 10 years of my working life as an inshore commercial long line fisherman I have good knowledge of how it all works! I do still go to sea on my friends boat rod and line fishing and we often lay lines like this as a kind of tester to see if there are any fish in areas we haven't tried before with some great results. I would go as far to say that it's almost a hobby making these lines and like to see other fisherman share the success on the gear I've made. I believe you will be more than happy with this line if not I will happily accept a return or will replace with good reason.
I have purchased a few other longlines advertised on ebay and to be honest I wouldn't use them for washing line!!! There is only a few listing that know what a proper fishing longline is, so bid/buy in confidence from me!
