I have decided to sell my full custom, no expense spared Randonneur bicycle to fund another project.
The detail and workload in this frame is almost too much to list.
Built here in Sheffield by a superb builder and engineer.
Absolutely everything on this frame was hand fabricated in house.
Fully and immaculately fillet brazed throughout.
Built with top of the range Columbus Spirit tubing and Kaisei “Toei Special” fork blades.
Raked for low trail and designed to carry weight at the front.
The fork is a work of art and took almost as long to build as the frame.
Stainless steel twin plate fork crown.
Stainless steel dropouts, front and rear.
Fronts fabricated to take the SL hub. So no need to fiddle with wires when removing the wheel. Just pop it out as you would with a standard hub.
Stainless steel curved rear brake bridge with double fixings. Inspired by the frames of Charrel.
Integrated/brazed rear cable stop.
Internal dynamo wiring through both forks and frame.
Seat stay mounted pump.
Slap strap on chainstay.
Stainless steel front bag support.
Provision for (and included in the sale) front low riders. These again are stainless and are custom made.
Stainless steel quick release decaleur.
Custom fabricated centrepull studs.

There are some marks from use, but it's been well maintained and cared for.
If you follow this link you will see some of the build process, the bike at the start of PBP with low riders (they are so light it was pointless removing them) and some of the places I've ridden on it. There has been a couple of changes since these photos. The bike is as pictured in the listing.
Measurements:
Gently sloping top tube.
Seat tube 59cm centre to top / 56cm centre to centre
Top tube 59cm centre to centre
The bike was completed in May 2015 and in that time I have covered almost 8000 miles on it. The chainrings, chain and cassette are new having covered just 200 miles.
I rode Paris-Brest-Paris 2015 starting in the Vedettes and finished in comfort on this wonderful machine. It was designed to be lightweight, durable and comfortable, whether just nipping to the pub or heading off on multi-day events.
I have also Everested on it. A full day with just shy of 9000 metres of climbing and over 100 miles. Again in complete comfort.
I could go on, but if you're here looking at this you'll understand what kind of machine this is.
It'll be a real shame to see it go. But a new project beckons.
If you have any questions you can text or phone me on 07595666370
I would prefer cash on collection but I'm happy to post/ship.
