Here I have a rare performance chip set for the BMW E36 M3 3.0 (DME+VNC) tuned by AC Schnitzer.  AC Schnitzer is one of the 3 big tuners that have a special relationship with BMW; the others are Dinan, Alpina and Hartge.  This special relationship gives these tuners a large advantage over other tuners as they get access to the inner secrets of the mapping of the ECUs.

This chip set is the same as those that came in the ACS Sport CLS S3.  Please see the link below for more details.  This was a very limited production vehicle making it extremely rare.

In this auction you get chips for both the engine computer (DME) and the VANOS controller ECU (VNC).  Both are modified ERPOMs with bespoke tuning.  This is a version without EWS so will fit both cars with and without the EWS factory immobilizer without any need for further programming.

Compatibility: 1992-1995 Euro M3 with the S50B30 engine

Specifications:

  • 320 Hp (stock is 286 Hp) so a gain of 34 Hp!
  • For use with stock intake and MAF sensor
  • For full power gain performance camshafts and a performance exhaust must be used (if you have stock cams please see my other auctions)
  • v-max deleted (speed limiter)
  • rev limit set to 7540rpm (stock is 7240rpm)
  • No EWS function so will disable it in cars with EWS

When installing a EWS delete chip in a car with EWS please also cut the EWS-ECU communication wire at pin 66 of the ECU connector.  It this is not done you may have intermittent no start issues.

    • +22Hp Group N BMW Motorsport chips (with use of GrN headgasket and camshafts - same 264deg cams as in the E36 M3 GT)
  • Carbon airbox without MAF (alpha-n), stock camshafts +/- mild modifications: +24Hp Alpha-n chips
  • 284 Schrick camshafts +/-mildly modified (air filter, exhaust):  +34Hp AC Schnitzer chips
  • Carbon airbox, 284 Schrick Camshafts +/- mild modifications: +39Hp H+H alpha-n chips
