Offering an antique Chinese pottery ginger jar, vase. This jar has the double ring, circa 1850, Kangxi mark on base. Nicely decorated in light blue characters and designs on pale blue background. It's appeal is that it is characteristically crudely made, with unique imperfections left by the maker.
Weighs 3/4 of a pound. Measures 4 1/2" tall, 4" wide, has a 3 1/4" round top diameter, and a 2 7/8" round base diameter.
Very good antique condition with one very small nick on outer top rim. Notice line across middle. Believe this is from process when made.
