On offer is a hardback First Edition, First Printing of Ira Levin's novel Rosemary's Baby, Random House 1967.  Comes with the original dust jacket which is price clipped.  Has 245 pages.  This book must not have sold well at first, because there seem to be a fair number of first printings that are price clipped.  The front inside flap does show the publication date of "4/67."

The book itself is in good to very good condition.  The binding is square and fairly tight.  No lean.  The front and back board are nice but there is a touch of fading, presumably from the sun, at the top edges.  There is a name and address written in a corner of the inside of the front cover.  See photos.  The pages are slightly yellowing.  They are unmarked.  The page ends show some soiling, particularly the top ends.  See photos.

The dust jacket has chipping and small tears, particularly at the folds.  See photos.  One small hole near the spine.  Also some soiling.  And the interior flaps have remained a noticeably lighter color than what is the exterior of the dust jacket.  )Also there is a small piece of clear tape affixed to the front (over the left side of the Capote quote).  Must have been done in error because there is no tear at that point.
