We are selling a lovely vintage Czech glass "nemo" bowl vase by Max Kannegiesser. This art glass vase is a perfect table centerpiece for your home or wedding.

This multi coloured vase has pink, blue, gold and colourless raised oval disks.

This iconic item was designed for the Borske Sklo glassworks in Czechoslovakia in the 1960's.

The vase is:

15cm (6 inches) high;

17cm (6.5 inches) wide;

and weighs 700g (1.5 pounds).

It is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, scratches or bruises. It does have some very very tiny fleabites around the rim, but as can be seen in the pictures, these are hardly visible.

A little history about the item (for those who are interested!)

During the communist occupation of Czechoslovakia a huge array of beautiful and innovative pieces were designed and produced. Due to the closed door nature of communism, many of these pieces are only now being discovered and documented.

The vase being sold here is from the Borske Sklo glassworks, which was founded in 1948. It merged with a number of other well know glass factories in the 50's, including Moser and Chribska.
