Here we have 2 beautiful sea shells from the Conidae family of sea snails (see photos).  The taxonomic identification of these shells is "Conus Virgo" identified under the authority of Linnaeus 1758.  The shells were trawled from Palawan, Philippines 1976.  The largest one measures about 74mm long and the smallest one measures about 58mm long.  These would make a great addition to any shell collection for display or conversational pieces. Pick these wonderful shells up today!!!
