Don't waste your time trying to make clean cuts in polystyrene foam with a knife! This baby will have you slicing, dicing and making smooth cuts through foam in no time. It heats up in just 10 seconds and the long heating element can handle foam up to 4" thick. This is not like underpowered models like FloraCraft and other craft store models that you have to force through foam. This one effortlessly slices through foam like a hot knife through butter.
Works great with common packaging styrofoam, polystyrene, floral foam, and various craft foams. Does not work with paper-covered foam sheets like presentation foam boards or home insulation foam sheets.

To maximize the longevity of your hot foam cutter, it's not recommended to run it longer than 30 minutes at a time. If you need to use it longer than that, just shut it off for a few minutes after each 30-minute period.
