This is a Custom Made Winston Boron III-Plus 790-4 Fly Rod Components Used: · Winston 9ft 7wt 4 pc BIII-Plus fly rod blank · Winston Anodized Aluminum Up-locking Reel Seat with fighting butt · Struble Flor Grade Pre-shaped Full Wells Cork Grip · Fuji LN Stripping guides with Silicon Carbide (SIC) ring · Hard Chrome Tip Top, Hook Keeper, and winding check. I have also included a Winston Graphite rod tube and rod sock with this fly rod. Why buy a custom built rod? 1) You can select the exact components used. Generally this means a nicer reel seat and prettier wood insert. It also means you can select the guide sizes that match your fishing. 2) Hand crafted quality and attention to detail. My rods are all hand wrapped – not by machines or cheap foreign labor. I take my time to insure that every wrap is lined up perfectly. 3) Same great Sage warranty applies to the blank as to their factory rods. I will repair/rebuild any and all warranty claims free of charge. 4) This is the best part – the price of a custom built rod is usually less than a factory built.
