For your consideration is a wonderful rare antique French August Moreau spelter metal sleeping cherub-angel  statue art nouveau lamp.  The lamp comes with 3vintage pink beaded Czech bulb covers. These shades are not original to the lamp but added at a later date.  The shades are in very good vintage condition.This lamp does have some issues as shown in my pictures. One of the branches that the bulb screws into is broken and needs to be repaired.  The bulb will still light up though. Please look at the pictures . There is also a chip where a leaf has been broken off. The lamp needs to be rewired. The bronze paint has chipped away in spots.  None of this ever bothered me as this Art Nouveau  lamp is exquisite! The sleeping cherub has such a sere look on his face, just precious.This is in the Art Nouveau time period.  The lamp is signed"August Moreau"as shown in my picture.  There is also the foundry mark that states, " made in France", fabrication Francaise, Paris as shown.  The lamp measures from the base to the top of the branches 16 1/2 inches high.The base diameter is 6 inches.  Even with all the issues this lamp has I know you would love it.   It would look amazing in a baby's nursery!I am selling this lamp as is so please look at all the pictures as they are part of my description.  Thank you
