This sale is for pair of vintage wood carved Foo Dogs. Statues are 7" high x 5" x 2 1/4" each. Not sure of their age. I am no expert but they appear to be quite old. A unique quality is that each figure has what appears to be a real, loose, moving wood ball carved inside of its mouth.  They were obtained at an estate sale. I know nothing about their history. They show substantial wear. The back right corners of each of them is chipped. Part of the bow on the left one is chipped. There is some chipping in right side of the right one's head. Also light cracking and chipping around the base and back especially on the right one. There's a hole drilled in the back corner of each. Perhaps for mounting purposes at one time. The back tip of the left one's wing is chipped as well. See pics and seller notes for details. Sold as is.
