Vintage CT Altwasser Silesia Hand Painted Wild roses Handled Plate Signed.

Wonderfully hand painted with wild roses. These are signed on the back with an artist signature that appears to read M. Handester and marked C.T. Altwasser Silesa. The C. T. mark is for Carl Tielch Altwasser Circa 1925 - 1932. They started using this mark in 1925 and added Germany under Silesia in 1932.

Excellent condition with no wear to the gold gilding and no chips or cracks.

Measures 11 5/8" wide from handle to handle.

I have another listing for a larger plate painted with the same wild roses by the same artist, but the maker's mark is Noritake Nippon.
