Hello. Up for your consideration this week is a user grade Nikon Nikkor 300 f/4.5 AI Mount lens. Lens Serial # 521306. The housing of this particular lens exhibits moderate signs of use that includes some blemishing, scratching, and loss of finish on the majority of surfaces. The lens hood erects and collapses with ease. The rabbit ears (for Non-AI meter coupling) are damaged and would need to be replaced for use with Non-AI meters – This is a simple fix. The focus is smooth, the diaphragm is snappy, and the aperture blades are dry and free from oil contamination. The optical glass is clean and free from fungi, haze, separation, coating flaws, and scratching. A penlight reveals some light cleaning marks, some minor coating blemishes on the front element, and some speckles of internal dust. None of these defects will have any affect upon the rendered image quality. No lens caps. Please read, re-read, and fully understand what you are bidding on prior to placing your bid.
