But to get really fantastic and exciting sounds out of it, takes time, needs experience and not least programming skills.

For those who want to get the best out of the ESQ-1 instantly, I offer the "AnalogAudio1" ESQ-1 Patch Bank, which is demonstrated in the video below. In this video, sometimes a bit delay and reverbs effects were added - like practiced in a studio. On the "Oxygene" sound at 1:26 a phasing effect from a "SMALL STONE pedal" was added.

Equipped with these brandnew, excellent patches, your ESQ-1 sounds like a new synthesizer - inspiring new sounds for your music. The patch bank comes as a .syx file.

With the free available "MIDI-OX" software you can load .syx files and send them through MIDI to your synth.

The bank consist of 40 high quality sound programs, which gets the best possible sounds out of the ESQ-1: warm analogue pads, fat analogue basses, lush string machines (Eminent 310U), delicate digital sounds, interesting ambient textures - everything you hear in the video and some more. Like you can hear, these sounds are very inspiring and can be used creatively in many musical contexts and styles.

As a bonus I also include the original factory patches.

By the way: you can load these patches into your Ensoniq ESQ-M and SQ-80 as well.

question: do I get a synthesizer / keyboard / musical instrument here?
answer: NO! The object of this offer are sounds/patches, which you can load into your synthesizer to enjoy new, great sounds.

question: what would I need to load these patches into my synth?
answer: you need a computer with MIDI interface, a MIDI cable and of course your synth. The patch bank comes as SYX file, which is a standard. Free software, like "MIDI-OX" for Windows or "SysExLibrarian" for Mac can load these files and to send them to your synth via MIDI cable. Included is a PDF with exact instructions.

question: can I load these patches into my software synth?
answer: NO! The sounds were created exclusively for the original hardware synths ENSONIQ ESQ-1, ESQ-M and SQ-80 from the eighties.
