Shipping: I have sold and shipped a few thousand 78's worldwide over the years online with very few fatalities during shipment. Records will be shipped in a 17X12X5 box with packing material. 78 will be placed inside of a 4 or 5 piece 11" cut cardboard "sandwich".
Grading. Look for the letter grade normally in the listing title. I try and be conservative and fair on grading. 2 grades means side A is one grade and side B another grade. One grade means both sides the same.:
NM Never use it to grade a 78.
E = Nice and shiny record with very few light scuffs or marks that will not be a major distraction during play.
VG = Average condition record. Still a good shine to the vinyl. Some marks and/or scuffs that will be audible during play. The record should not skip or jump.
Good = Starting to get a dullness to the vinyl. Numerous marks and scuffs that will be audible during play. Still should not skip or jump.
Fair = I very seldom will sell a record like this. If so it's only because of its rarity. Dull vinyl, scuffs and scratches galore. May not play through without skipping or jumping.
All records have been cleaned with a damp cloth. Further more detailed may need to be done.
