You are looking at a McIntosh MX110 pre-amp tuner. This is a Z version. Much better than non-Z versions. Thanks to different tubes combination and circuit design.

The tuner section is very similar to MR67 with MPX stereo section.
The FM section is fully aligned. Just the alignment work alone cost $650.
The I-F stages have been aligned in perfect bell shape as shown in picture.
Sensitivity and channel separation meet or exceed original specs.
The eye tube and MPX light is bright and working.
All tubes test
ed strong.

The pre-amp section is very similar to C22.
C22 uses 6 tubes; 3 tubes for phono, 1 tube for tone control and 2 tubes for audio amplification. The MX110 also uses 6 tubes.

2x 12AX7 for phono amplification
1X 12AX7 for tone control
1x 6D10 for 1st stage audio amplification   <---  key to sweet tone !
2x 6U8 for 2nd stage audio amplification

The sound is sweet.

Panel light is bright and working.
The chrome chassis is shiny, no rusts.
Very clean both inside and outside.
All control pots (e.g. volume) are smooth and quiet.
Letters are mostly intact except some text on the front panel. Common in vintage McIntosh.
AC Voltage : 117V
Item will be packed in double boxes for safe shipping.
The inner box is an original McIntosh box.
Buyer with low feedback please contact me first.

MX110 is like a C22 and MR67 combined at an affordable price. Beautiful sounds.
