A 10 inch diameter shaman drum,built with red deer rawhide on a sustainable pine frame, with beater of pine wrapped in soft skin. It has a wonderful bright light voice. It is a light drum and would be good for a child, or for the person who needs one which can be easily packed away...good for travelling to workshops, gatherings etc.

I made this drum using rawhide which I prepare myself from the hides of a herd of red deer which roam a nearby valley here in the English lake district. 

The image(s) are acrylic which won't flake or rub off with use.

It will come to you with a protective coating of natural Bee's wax. T

The hides come from managed culls, not from animals killed just for their skins. I leave offerings and give thanks to the spirit of the land which sustains them.
