Here is a rare opportunity indeed!

This is an original sample that was never meant to go to market. It was a sample for the designer's showroom and most likely walked down the runway on a model. The tag has a lot of hand written information. Dated in the 1990's. There is an incredible amount of hand tailoring. Made entirely of silk. The outer layer is a sheer chiffon in a royal teal blue. The lining of the pants is solid black. There are four layers of silk on the pants. The combination makes the pants almost two toned. The bodice is fully lined in teal silk. The closure is by hook and eye. The bodice is boned and will offer security of fit and wear. Clearly this is a couture ensemble.

This outfit is so elegant. The feather light fabric has wonderful drape and breeziness. The pants are meant to be worn high waisted. The wide full pant legs almost look like a skirt. The bodice keeps the shape and is very figure flattering. Imagine this ensemble with a chunky necklace.

Condition:

In great wearable condition, but keep in mind this was never intended for the market. Meaning there are signs of last minute stitching most likely to custom fit the garment to the model.

It has a couple of tiny flaws: Bodice has a line of 3 pin pricks. Two tiny spots on rear bodice. One small spot on left side.
