E46 M3 E85 E86 Z4M S54 Velocity stack induction kit


This kit is dipped in carbon fibre pattern (not made from carbonfibre) and then coloured using green/purple flip paint and then lacquered using crystal 2 pac lacquer. These look absolutely stunning when the sun catches them the colours are incredible, they will turn any s54 engine bay into a show stopper and massive talking point they give you a reason to open the bonnet! They are available with black, yellow or red silicone connectors  - other colours available for a small surcharge (only £20 extra - purple or green would be stunning)


The kit includes everything needed to fit to a manual e46 M3 (s54 engine) if you have an smg you will require 2 extra parts which can be provided for an additional £100 if required (genuine BMW brand new parts). The kit is also suitable for the Z4M should you be lucky enough to own one but will not fit the e36 M3.


The kit ideally requires 'alpha n' mapping (or a remap for more power) and csl scaling for the air temp sensor just like the CSL carbon airbox's, I can advise more on this to anyone interested but will include the software with the kit and instructions to talk you through it if required  - you will need to purchase a BMCABLES K-line cable, these are £28 and are a great tool to have if you dont already have one. The alpha n is not necessary, the car will drive fine without it but you will have the engine light illuminated and you will need to leave the air temp sensor unplugged until you have the alpha n activated. I can do this free of charge for you if you bring the car to the workshop.


Its a fairly easy diy and I'll supply comprehensive illustrated instructions for you, ill also provide a contact number should you have any trouble when fitting, but I would advise professional fitting which would take between 3 and 6 hours in total.


I would be happy to install the kit for you at a cost of £150 at our BMW specialist workshop in Derbyshire, i would also do the alpha n mapping, csl iat scaling and anything else you fancy (csl rev matching, inertia update, speed limit removal, manual gearbox shift lights, cat/air pump decoding etc)


I have my own "stacked" M3 always on site if you would like a demonstration before you buy!


The kit includes everything you need to fit to your manual M3 (SMG cars will require 2 extra parts as described above, nothing serious just to move the SMG fluid reservoir, its not an airtight system at this point so will not need bleeding if you follow the instructions)

Cold air feed to fit standard air inlet with fittings


The kit can also be provided with a MAP sensor and fitting kit with correct terminals for the ecu fitted if you wish to use a MSS54HP ecu.


The stacks are painted using high quality temperature resistant automotive paint and lacquered with crystal 2 pac lacquer for a stand out finish and they really do look stunning with the flip effect paint!


All parts are top quality, the same kit is used on my own much loved M3 so there are no cheap low quality parts.


The kit for sale will be exactly the same as the one pictured and fitted to our own M3's as shown in the pictures


 Initially you won't see any gains apart from the incredible noise, which is worth it on its own! But with a decent remap you'll see between 20 to 30 bhp gain - tried and tested. Alternatively using a MSS54HP ecu and MAP sensor you should see a small power increase (small but still more than any CSL airbox will offer!) 


Bare in mind there is a reason most naturally aspirated race cars use velocity stacks on their individual throttle bodies... SPEED AND SOUND!


The video below gives you a rough idea of how the stacks sound when fitted however its hard to fully capture the noise, they produce a much MUCH louder and more visceral induction noise than the CSL airbox but at a fraction of the cost, but you control the noise by how hard to push the throttle, so at motorway cruising speeds there is no intrusive noise at all.... Until you push the pedal harder and see people looking around to see whats approaching!

You will not regret having these fitted to you're car, everything can be returned to standard should you have a lapse of sanity and decide you want to remove them - but you wont!
