This is a rare, real photo postcard showing a soldier of the 36th (Ulster) Division, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.

It measures approx 89mm x 140mm; the watermark does not appear on the actual photo and is only there to help prevent the image from being copied.

The postcard was written by Frank Rogers, a member of that company and is addressed to his sister Liz in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath - he explains that the picture is of one of his new chums.
The postcard is signed "Carrots", a nickname that Frank sometimes goes by when writing to his sisters.

The postcard looks to be in good condition for its age but please examine the photos carefully so you can establish your own view of condition prior to purchase.

*** I have lots of other rare 36th (Ulster) Division related postcards for sale which I will be listing over the next few days so please come back for regular updates ( many of them were posted by the same Frank Rogers back to his sisters in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and show images of himself and some of his army colleagues )

Many thanks for looking and happy bidding!
