Rare hand-crafted bolo tie with a bear carving of caribou horn and the ends on the braid made of clicker bones from the caribou's knees. The man-made black braid measures 36" with the clicker bones adding another couple of inches. The one-piece bear carving measures 3" wide and is slightly rounded with inset black eyes. Just a beautiful hand-crafted piece bought directly from the crafter during our first venture into the backcountry of Alaska.

Rare vintage hand-crafted bolo tie with a bear carving of caribou horn and the ends on the braid made of clicker bones from the caribou's knees. The man-made black braid measures 36" with the clicker bones adding another couple of inches. The one-piece bear carving measures 3" wide and is slightly rounded consistent with the shape of caribous horn and has inset black eyes. Has metal sleeve on back of bear for easy length adjustment. In excellent vintage condition with no flaws. Just a beautiful hand-crafted piece bought directly from the crafter during our first venture into the backcountry of Alaska.
