A unique large antique Victorian-Edwardian pleated beaded collar dress front in black... Fashioned of silk, this collar comes from a large museum deaccession collection of Victorian and Edwardian clothing, and is offered for display, restoration, or repurposing... It features an understatedly elegant geometric motif showcasing an abundance of pleated and beaded trims, and is finished off with larger pleats and beaded trim along a bottom panel. Measures ~70in around the neckline with the front panel spanning ~8&1/2inX12in, and is finished all around. In overall fair-good condition with a few scraggly threads, some discoloration mostly of the lining along the back, and a few splits mostly along the fold lines of the shoulder area.
